The lower part of your body which is below the belly button and above your hips is called Pelvis. Pelvic pain is the shooting, stabbing or aching sensation within the said region. For some, the pelvic pain starts from thighs or some other part of the body and moves to the pelvic region.
Pelvic pain causes due to several health issues such as endometriosis, fibroid, pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cysts, ovarian remnant syndrome or even simple conditions such as menstrual cramps.
While some cases require health care or medical attention to get cured, in other cases, the pelvic pain is not a big issue. High fiber diet:
A high-fiber diet is known to be an anti-inflammatory substance which helps cure the pelvic pain in women. The diet includes leafy veggies, nuts, seeds, broccoli, organic protein etc. which regulates digestion, eventually reducing the pain in your abdomen region.
Quercetin:
Though quercetin supplements are easily available in the market, you can also get it through vitamin-rich foods. Fruits like apples, blueberries, cherries or green tea and olive oil are a great source of quercetin which can help reduce the pelvic pain in your body.

What should you avoid during the pelvic pain period?
There are foods which can worsen your pelvic pain, making it difficult to get rid of it. This includes,
• Sweetened beverages and food
• Alcohol
• Refined carbohydrates
Avoid smoking or consumption of above foods.
